Even though in this case the artist who was sued and then filed an appeal doesn’t seem to be that creative with his appropriation, the article is still an interesting read about how a postmodern outlook affects not only the artwork itself but also art law. It aso shows how subjective fair use laws are, which can be a serious hindrance to parodies that actually have a message behind them.
